InMoment Wins Silver Stevie® Award in 2015 International Business Awards

Winners to Be Celebrated at Gala Banquet on 23 October in Toronto, Canada

Birmingham, UK (13 Aug, 2015) — InMoment™, a cloud-based customer experience optimization platform that gives companies the ability to listen to and engage with customers, was named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the Best New Product or Service of the Year category in the 12th Annual International Business Awards.

The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organisations worldwide — public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small — are eligible to submit nominations. The 2015 IBAs received entries from more than 60 nations and territories.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala banquet at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Toronto, Canada on 23 October.

Active Listening recently claimed a People’s Choice Stevie Award for Favorite New Products in the 13th Annual American Business Awards and is a finalist in the Peer-adjudicated Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie Awards, which will be announced and presented 13 September in San Francisco.

More than 3,700 nominations from organisations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Company of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Startup of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year, and Executive of the Year, among others. InMoment’s Active Listening Suite won in the Best New Product or Service of the Year for the Relationship Management category.

InMoment’s Active Listening Suite applies text analytics in a unique, patent-pending way to obtain richer data and make the feedback process a more engaging, positive experience for customers. The tool analyses comments as customers enter them in real-time, and poses relevant follow-up questions, encouraging customers to provide more details. Active Listening helps companies gather the most valuable, actionable insights, building meaningful relationships with customers in the process.

“It is such an honour to receive this award and see the Active Listening Suite recognised for transforming the way companies listen to customers,” said John Sperry, Founder and CEO of InMoment. “In their eagerness to connect many companies make the feedback process feel like a cross examination. Active Listening makes feedback more enjoyable and elicits richer insights that allow brands to both improve customers’ experiences, and steer their business. When it comes to customer experience, how you listen really does matter.”

Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process from May through early August.

“The IBAs grow in stature and renown every year, and with that the number and quality of entries increases,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “This year’s judges were treated to more than 3,700 stories of success and achievement around the world. We thank the judges for their time and feedback, and we congratulate the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie winners whom we’ll celebrate in Toronto in October.”
