LONDON (February 9, 2022)— InMoment®, the leading provider of Experience Improvement (XI)™, announces Matt Nelson, InMoment’s VP of Brand, has been included in Utah Business’ 2022 40 Under 40 which honours Utah’s most established professionals.

During his time at InMoment, Nelson has executed on numerous high-profile initiatives that have brought him industry-wide accolades–including rebranding Mindshare Technologies to InMoment.

Due to Nelson’s dedication and commitment to excellence in his field he has been promoted in rapid succession, from Interaction Designer/Front-End Developer, to Senior Manager, to Design Creative Director, and recently to VP of Brand.

“I have worked with many talented designers during my career, and Matt is one of the very best,” said Kristi Knight, InMoment CMO, “Matt helps his team not only think creatively about how to approach a project, but also how to grow as business professionals by helping them think through the entire process—who is this for, what matters to them, who are the stakeholders, how can we best coordinate and communicate, what are the priorities and why? This mindset elevates not only our brand but our approach as well.”

Nelson’s impact is reflected through many accomplishments over his 7+ years at InMoment, where he has driven excellence and identified opportunities to help the company’s brand grow:

  • Spearheaded a company-wide rebrand within a 10-week period
  • Managed strategy and integration for three recent acquisitions
  • Oversaw three full website rebrands
  • Created the idea for “the garage” which is now a full team for user interface design
  • Developed numerous customer conferences and in-house event branding

“Matt is very involved in our day-to-day,” says Alayna Leaming, Art Director. “He is invested in us as people and designers. He thinks a lot about our growth, and he comes up with goals for each of us. He is a good leader and a really good friend. He’s a player-coach instead of just a coach. He’s alongside us, doing the work.”

Nelson is an artist and his art was twice accepted into the spring art show (Spring Salon) at the Springville Museum of Art, and he won an award of merit for his work in printmaking. Outside of work, Nelson is devoted to his family and community. He meets weekly with youth in his area, ages 11 to 13,  to help them develop their own personal goals, and helps structure group activities that support them in achieving their goals. He is also an active supporter of local museums and community by taking his family out to experience new ideas, experiences, cultures, and foods.
