ISO 27001 is the international management system standard for best practices in information security management. Administered by the International Organization for Standardization.
ISO 27001 provides a framework for establishing implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and continually improving an organization’s handling and management of security data.

In tandem with the announcement of ISO 27001 certification, Rich Burgi has been appointed Chief Information Security Officer at MaritzCX. Rich has 20 years of experience in global technical operations supporting enterprise SaaS products and environments. His experience includes technical leadership at NTT/Verio with technical and information security leadership at EMC and VMware, and experience with SLA/system uptime, change management, incident management, risk management. Burgi has led technical operations through ISO certification at two companies and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
