Empathica Continues Solid Growth: Strengthens Retail, Food Service & Financial Service Verticals with Appointment of Four New Vice Presidents

Bill Dunn, Chris Kelly, Emmanuel Probst and Bob Tintner join Empathica with extensive customer technology expertise and domain knowledge.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada – September 16, 2011 – Empathica Inc., a leading provider of Customer Experience Management (CEM) solutions to more than 200 of the world’s most respected brands, announced today the additions of Bill Dunn as Vice President, Financial Services; Chris Kelly Vice President, Retail; Bob Tintner Vice President, Food Services; and Emmanuel Probst, Vice President, Retail.

Bill Dunn, as new Vice President of Financial Services, will be responsible for business development and strategic consulting across the retail banking and insurance verticals. Dunn’s financial service background is rooted in extensive consultative selling, business development, marketing research and new product/service development. Prior to joining Empathica, Dunn served as principal of Customer Experience Partners where he assisted clients in achieving a meaningful level of strategic differentiation through trust-based marketing and advocacy. He was also responsible for all marketing and business development efforts across multiple industries for TRG Research.

Chris Kelly, as new Vice President of Retail, will spearhead Empathica’s retail division in Western North America. Kelly is known as an accomplished software professional who builds profitable and successful partnerships with customers. He joins Empathica from KANA Software, Inc., where he served as Director of Strategic Accounts and was responsible for account management and footprint expansion within five of the company’s enterprise accounts.

Emmanuel Probst, serving as a new Vice President of Retail for Empathica’s retail division in Eastern North America, brings a deep understanding of the market research industry, expertise in international consultative business development, and a PhD in Consumer Psychology — focused on luxury goods consumption. Prior to his new role, Probst served as Senior Manager, Client Development, at Research Now/E-rewards in the U.S., U.K. and France. Probst assisted in obtaining new client accounts, as well as opening the company’s Chicago and Paris offices.

Bob Tintner, as Vice President of Food Services, will focus on Empathica’s Eastern North America business in this growing sector. With more than 25 years of experience, Tintner brings to Empathica his dynamic sales management background and award-winning sales leadership in highly competitive markets. Prior to joining Empathica, Tintner served as the National Account Manager for PCMS, a leading international software and services provider in the retail and food service space. He was responsible for securing over $10 million dollars in sales, including the largest deal in the company’s history.
